Preschool - Planet Tiny Nursery, North London
Moravian Church, Priory Road, London, N8 7HR
Planet Tiny preschool takes children from the age of 2 years and 8 months till 5. Here the children participate in structured activities based on their interests, providing them with all the guidance they need to prepare them for school.
We have a variety of extracurricular activities at preschool introducing different languages as well as hands on activities such as cooking, pottery and craft.
Dance, drama and music also take place during the week with the help of Jenny`s Jam, Debutots and Jumping Beans.
Once the children turn 3, they all take part in ‘Big Work’. Our practitioners have a secure understanding of this age group and use appropriate teaching and learning strategies to enable the children to progress and develop ensuring they are fully prepared for school.

Preschool Room
Our preschool offers all seven areas of learning and development which are essential for igniting children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. The resources are at child friendly height allowing the children to explore freely whilst using their imagination skills.
The large outdoor space allows for free flow access to fresh air whilst “wind catchers” keep the warmth in. Children are given the option of playing either indoor or outdoor whilst maintaining all seven areas of learning.
In extremely bad weather conditions, we have use of the church hall where the children are given opportunities to be active and to develop their coordination control and movement.
Admissions into preschool are from the age of 2 years and 8 months however first priority is given to the toddlers already at Planet Tiny. Occasionally we do get spaces for one to join at this stage, you are encouraged to visit and enrol at least 1 year before you require childcare.
Our practitioners use “Island time” (one to one) with the children to understand their individual needs, interests and stage of development of each child in their care. This information is used to plan challenging and enjoyable experiences for each child in all areas of learning and development.
